The Hailey Hugs Initiative
The Hailey Hugs Initiative seeks to provide comfort to individuals who are grieving loss. In 2011, Jennifer (Hallam) Francis’ title painstakingly changed from “mom” to “angel Mom” when she lost her 22 month old daughter, Hailey.
In Hailey’s memory, Jennifer wrote the picture book, A Hug Through the Air. The book tells the story of a family with a connection that transcends Heaven and Earth and it gives hope to families suffering from loss.
In 2018, Jennifer launched the Hailey Hugs Initiative, a nonprofit organization that distributes A Hug Through the Air and a stuffed animals to families dealing with loss.
